FAQ
What equipment is provided?
4x Pioneer CDJ-3000s, a DJM-A9 mixer, and an RMX-1000.
How long are sets?
Open deck sets are 1 hour. Curated sets on Friday and Saturday vary based on the lineup.
Can I do both?
Absolutely. Sign up for Thursday open decks and submit a mix for the curated days. They're independent.
How does the open decks sign-up work?
It's a shared Google Sheet with available time slots. Find an open slot, put your name in. All edits are tracked, so be cool.
When will I know if I'm selected for Friday/Saturday?
Selected DJs will be contacted before the event. If you don't hear back, you can still sign up for Thursday open decks.
What's the vibe?
WHYNOT is a campout first, not a gig. We want DJs who are here to be part of the weekend — swimming in the river, hanging at camp, dancing to other people's sets. Come to enjoy the experience.
What genres are welcome?
All of them. House, techno, drum & bass, ambient, disco, breaks — if it moves people, it works.
